I think from reading the reviews that the 'Viper' kit is one of the best.
But it costs over 250 beer tokens

Personally PiperX or ITG as they are good multilayer foam filters. None will give extra power without other fettling in the ECU department.
I've used K&N's (My MG still has them) and I've always found the carbs get really mucky inside.

You've opened a can of worms here mate, I've got a K&N 57i and I like it but not many other people seem to like them. Then again I've not tried the others myself. The only true answer you will get is from someone who has tried them all. The only thing I will say is that by fitting A direct air feed hose you MPG will drop like a hookers thong.

Mine has stayed about the same but motorway cruising is MUCH better.
