Technical Which Fuel Filter?

Is there any easy way to identify which fuel filter type is fitted to my Multi?

I've looked it up on Comline using my car reg and it lists two types. They are different sizes and the thread fitment is only given for one of them.

If its a 110 jtd it should be the metal screw on type. If its a 115 jtd then it should be the plastic container that has the paper element in side. I have found that you can only buy the paper element from main dealer. Hope this info helps.

It's a JTD115 (late model round nose, '04 reg). I had a look at it this evening. Theres an aluminium(?) canister with an octagonal set of flats around the bottom quarter-or-so and what feels like a drain off on the bottom. The canister has printing on it which isn't clear enough to read in the dark but it has the look of being a replaceable cartridge rather than a permanent housing for an element.

I'll get the measurements off the Comline website for the two variants and see if either of them match what I've got.
