General Which engine to go for in a ulysse?

Hello I am looking to get a ulysse and am tossing up between the 2 and 2.2 diesel, will do about 20k annually mainly pottering around, what do you guys recommend!?

Find the 2.2 with the 6 speed gearbox, I found that I average an extra 5 mpg over the 2.0 with the 5 speed box.
