I bought some of the Selenia oil from my FIAT garage, but at £14 per litre I don't really want to be limited to that make.
I cannot believe that another branded oil, that conforms to the specification laid down in the handbook, would do any harm to my engine, nor would it not give me full performance. T, sorry, :worship: sir T, what do you reckon?
On the same topic, do I need fully synthetic, partially synthetic or just 'normal' oil?
Mine's a GP Mjet 90 1.3, Jan 2007.
The oil marker on my dipstick is halfway between min and max (no round thing on mine) so ideally I'd like to top it up a bit, but the 1 litre bottle I bought I keep for 'emergencies' in the boot, hence the need for a cheaper, quality brand which I can buy in 5 litre bottles!
Anybody have any comments to make (apart from me being a skinflint!)?
