Which bulbs do I need???

Which bulb fitment do I need in my 1.2 '99 V Reg Bravo.
its for dipped headlights as I find that they are very poor and cant really afford the marea conversion right now.
my headlights are fine and bright but the dips are awful.
I think I will get osram silverstars, if this is possible?

H1 i think but go to www.powerbulbs.com and it will tell you

does the unit use 1 bulb for main beam and 1 bulb for low or does it jsut use 1 bulb?

1 bulb for main beam and 1 bulb for dipped beam as you said. I only replaced my dipped beam though as i was happy enough with full beam. Might change them one day...

they are both the same type of bulbs though. H1 if i remember correctly. You might even get some free cool blue sidlights from powerbulbs.com too

They are H1.
You need 4 in total.
You want Philips Vision Plus. (The best in my humble opinion)

Yep H1's are the correct fitment.

Go to Nippy Normans website, or look him up on ebay, i got 6 pairs of Vision Plus (me, mum and a m8) for £57 delivered! Bargain.

I noticed more improvement on main beam than dipped.

so could i buy the phillips "xenon look" ones for my low beam and the vision plus ones for full? or the other way round? or any other suggestions?

i got two pairs of osram silverstars and i'm pretty pleased with them. Ive never had or seen the philips ones so cant personally say which are better but if you look at the excerts from reviews and things on powerbulbs.com the osram bulbs appear to come out better.
