Technical Which brand HT Leads Punto 16V 2002

Hi All,

I've put new NGK spark plugs and new Beru HT Leads in my car about 6 weeks ago, this to solve the problem that the engine was not running smooth and accerated "bumpy".
This all went OK about 6 weeks.
But now the problem with the HT Leads seems to come again.
There is no ECU Engine error lit but the car accelerates not smooth having misfires which makes me think the HT Leads are failing again (I thin there are high voltage sparks between the hole in the cilinder head and the HT Lead causing the bad engine performance)
Which brand HT Leads are best for a Punto 2002 16V?

Have you tried WD-40 ?

Any decent brand should do....
There are an odd lead here and there tho, had a set of aftermarlet branded that also failed within a short space of time, fitted another and it lasted ages!

At nighy look for tiny blue flashes as it arcs out to confirm a duff lead

You must be joking. They get changed every ten years whether they need it or not
