where to find paint code

im looking to spray some abarth skirts and rear spats to fit to my car but don't know where to find the paint code, has anyone got a diagram of the plate, where it's located and what letters and numbers im looking for, cheers

it's 2001 and yellow if that helps at all

well your colours broom yellow and halfords stock it. The paint code is found on the boot door near the catch. Silver sticker. I.e. 623/b met
