I replied to Justb two weeks ago and put on some photo's of the power connecter to the pump and it could be well worth checking that yours does not look the same, as our car had the same symptoms. After changing the power lead we have had no further trouble. The spade connectors in this plug in truth do not look strong enough
when you consider the current the pump draws .It would be a big task but I think if the pump was removed for access the spade's drilled and the power cable end's fitted
with eyes and nut and bolted securely in place would be a definite fix.
However a new cable is cheap and quick!.
