Thinking of colour coding my rub strips and door handles. Someone said halfords will mix up some paint in an aerosol if i give them my paint code. Does anyone know if this will match well etc or should I try somewhere online?

If it works out too expensive i might consider getting a bodyshop to do it since i need to get a car park scrape done in the meantime.

Thanks

Hi, i used halfords aerosol of the shelf branded as fiat broom yellow and used it on my handles after some primer, came out fine matched ok heres a pic

Bad example i know but having trouble uploading any others, As for side strips could just pull them off to save taking them off painting them and putting back on, but run the risk of someone putting a ding in your door at your local Sainsburys ;) I ended up just buying a litre of cellulose paint matched by paint shop and a gallon of thinners and using a spray gun as i was doing alot more painting (smoothing front and back bumpers) if your gonna C/C your front and back bump strips on the bumpers be very carefull when unclipping them as they tend to be very well clipped and break easily (y) hope this helped lol.
