where do i put the clutch fluid in my punto

Hi,

My fiat 95 punto had a really sticky gearbox and a floppy clutch yesterday and now today it wont go into gear. I spoke to a mechanic and he said it was the cable. Surely if it was the cable I would have felt it snap...does it topping up with fluid and if so where do I put it??????

Hi lyn, if it is a cable clutch then you wont have anywhere to put clutch fluid as the car wont use clutch fluid, you wont necessarily feel the cable snapping.

Puntos have a hydraullic clutch - so there's no cable to snap.

And the fluid is the same tank as the break fluid - just at the top of the engine, on the left as you open the bonet.
