where do easy transfer files end up

depends what you chose to transfer:

user accounts will become accounts in vista
files and folders will take their original path on the HDD, except windows managed files which take the equivalent vista location.
e-mail messages, settings, and contacts will be added in outlook
photos, music, and videos will be in your documents as usual
windows settings will be created in windows
program data files and settings will take their original path
internet settings will be set in IE

I keep all my emails on the mail server, even though they get downloaded to Outlook.

Outlook then gets sync'd with my PDA, so all is good. Oh, and I use Google bookmarks, so they follow me around on whatever PC I use.

i asked bs where it was you could keep bookmarks on line, but no one replied :(
we used to have some link things under our sigs but they gone.

new problem, in OE i had passwords one for each email address, diffrent identies, but vista wont let me have that, so both my email addresses go to same in box and everyone who uses pc can read them

Not sure of OE, I have been an Outlook fanboy for years....

Still using XP 99.9% of the time as well.

As for BS thread, can't recall -will reply to it now :p
