It is 74mm but you can't seem to get it in that size so get 76mm you will need a 2 45 degree bends one joiner and all the jubilee clips, make sure your cone filter is 76mm or 74mm then you will have a perfect fit. Can't remember who I used but I got my stuff of eBay it will cost on the region of £60 to do it properly ask will or andy boo they are both running my cretions
http://stores.shop.ebay.co.uk/REGALS-Motorsport__W0QQ_armrsZ1 Found that a while ago, reckon they should have the bits you need! and the induction kit works fab. dont know about performance, but it sounds like, to steal a quote from clarkson, "barry white eating bee's"
Alu and silicone are both good, silicone slightly better perhaps as it allows a little flex. stay away from that horrible heater style flexible piping though, gives waaaay too much turbulence in the airflow. its all about being smooth and im sure they do 76mm 45degree pieces on there?
Jump on ebay and serch for "76mm 45 silcon" thats what i did, aluminium pipe looks nice but will suffer from heat soak more than silicon, plus as will says thre is slight flex there and as you know the emgine moves on its mounts.
i was thinking of putting these kits together a while ago and knocking them out for 80 quid but dont know if it would be worth my time.
the cone filter i use and have doen for the last 5 years been on both rats has been cobra filters from exhuasts uk, really good quality and very reasonable when you think the filter cost around 18 quid which aint bad.
hiya,
im thinking about new air filter(cold air feed from outside the bonnet). i know now that silicone is better than alu so im going to buy silicone hose but still dont know whats the best filter?? i know it has to be open cone filter but thats all i know. any1 can advice me??
