General Where can i buy new windows?

I need a new window for the rear of my uno. not the windscreen but the side ones at the back that open on the funny little handle.

U see i had to brake into my car today (left the keys locked inside 20miles from my home WITHG the car still running) and thats the easiest window to fit. anyway...

its broken now and i need a new one.

anyone know any sites i can order one from? In the morning im ringing a local garage but they will most likely have to order inthe part anyway and then ill have to pay for labour so its easier to do it myself but i need the window. I might also try scrappies but the ones near my might not have any Unos.

so can anyone help?

best bet is scrappies cause will be cheaper than paying new price.
I had to smash mine when i had my uno, there easy to replace

well ive found a fiat spares braker in the yellow pages very close to me so ill give em a ring tomorrow. they say they have Uno parts in the ad so i will call em.

try normal breakers first the ones that just do one make of car usaly cost more.

Good thing you don´t have a 5-door model, as I´ve got. The rear windows (on the rear doors) are quite a pain to remove and install. They go in and out at only one particular point. I´ve tinted one of the windows after the removal, so replacing it was very difficult without destroying the extra plastic layer. Front windows are fairly easy to install - I had a brake-in (break-in???) too, but I didn´t do it myself [!]. Good luck finding windows. All Uno door windows from 1985 actually fit the MkII of the Uno. I don´t know if this is actual for the 3-door version (as you need the rear one), but I bought a front window that suited both Uno models.

have u got the rite tools for the job. I have a feeling the screws that are used on the window are star shaped ones

thje ones on my uno are the usual cross shape but in the haynes manual they are the flat shape... so im taking those 2 screwdrivers...
