Technical wheels?

Does anyone have any pics of classic fiat/ford wheels on a Panda?

I know most ford wheels are 108PCD and not worth the hassle of trying to fit, but I'm thinking oversize mini wheels, fiat 127 wheels, fiat 131 racing wheelc and other old alloy wheels.

Has anyone tried/seen Peugeot 106 Rallye wheels on a panda?

I'd like some wheels for my new Panda y'see :)

what does how mean? lol

Do you mean how is is not worth the hassle of trying to fit 108PCD wheels to?
I'm not sure how it would be possible. The offset would mean they would be half outside the arches and I don't reckon there is enough material to drill new holes for 98mm PCD. No idea if that's true, just my guess having measured some Pug wheels in my garage. If we are talking about using some fancy converters/spacers or something, then we are talking even more tyre out of arch.

Tell me what you know!

nononon theres nothing wrong with any of my wheels. I just want some cool retro looking ones to put on red.

You might all be right about keeping the white wheels and swapping them onto Red, but my only concern is that I probably won't sell the '88 Panda without them being on it.

As for the ford classic wheels and the 108PCD, I was just spitballing and looking at what nice retro looking wheels are out there.

I know that getting 100PCD up to 108PCD requires something daft like 2 inch spacers and would make my panda sit in between the wheels like a dragster.

I've got these lined up for Farmyard. They're from a 70's Alfa Romeo Alfetta saloon, will need a small spacer for the rear pair but otherwise go straight on, so looking at Alfa wheels is an option.

lOOks nice Lewey!!

One day i have plans to go 14 inch steels on my sisley sprayed white. The guys on the Portuguese panda 4x4 club site use them. They look so nice with offroad tires. look like mini landrovers.:)

I just lost an auction for a set of Fiat 131 rally style wheels that were stunning!

The price stayed low-ish but the distance was 220 miles pickup only :D

I'm going to drop a line to the previous owner of my car and see if he can shed any light on what make/manufacturer they are.

-edit-

Actually, does anybody happen to know what make they are on here?

Yes, I distinctly remember running round Evesham last year with Jeni (Pandavan) trying to source some for the black car We ended up in Halfords, buying a so-called 'universal' set They didn't fit at first, so we had to file them out a bit Seems OK since tho Can't remember what size they were though

The uno turbo wheels look good on urchin's car, colour coordination looks class. Just would not work on my sisley the white wheels are a feature of the car, and give it that rugged 4x4 look!! Need a similar looking 14inch steel wheel i can redo white and use the sisley centre caps with!! Does anybody recognize this fiat wheel on the sisley?

Damien.

Olly did mention the name once.

It's a south american comapny begining with M i think,

I've just got a reply from Ollie and he says they are Mangels wheels but the model or age he doesn't know.

They actually make a more 'modern' version of them, but in a 5x108 PCD.

These particular ones are like rocking horse poo to find. I tried all last night but nowhere has any. Not even pictures!

Problem solved :)

Just bought some X19 wheels that will look brilliant.

A quick session at the sandblasters, followed by a black & white 2PAC paintjob will have them gleaming.

If anyone cares, I'm putting up some pics of my new panda in a thread called 'Red' later this week.

I don't want to spoil any of the glory by putting any pics up before she gets lowered, on the new wheels and the Lancia Y10 ARB fitted.

I literally cannot wait to drive her - and see what you guys think!!! :D
