to the right of engine under the air filter is some kind of fuel terminal casting, under there is dripping diesel when running.

It's in the centre of photo, is that the injector casting? If so the leak is below there, is it an easy fix or not. Th

First I still cant see what your referring ro.
I cant se any signs of fresh DERVleaks either. Can you take another pic from further back to put it incontext
Open you photo and see if you can edit adding an arrow to the offending part save as something and thevup load again. Always take great care with diesel fuel lines due to the high pressures involved. Usually need to depressurize first.

Doing a little research after I'd taken the photos it appears to be the fuel pump which has quite a few seals that need replacing before going to the expense of a new pump....stu

Try a Bosch diesel centre. My experience is what they dont know and cant fix aint worth knowing/ fixing. In my diesel days albeit some time back now they were always fair prices too.
