My daughter has a 1.2 500 2011. It’s my nemesis. There is a noise coming from front end when over 10 - 15mph. I have changed the wheel bearings, wasn’t that. Gearbox has had the bearing done and that hasn’t fixed it although the bearing noise in 4th gear has gone. It is constant noise (stays when clutch is on or out). It is a whirring noise that has a slight vibration through the floor. Hoping it isn’t the driveshafts as not been a problem with them before. Anyone any ideas? Tyres have tread but are cheap ones so maybe them?

Plus if you live near a long steep hill you could try rolling down in neutral to eliminate drive line parts!
I have done the roll in down in neutral and the noise remains in neutral. The engine was running but not in gear. I am thinking that rules out gearbox and engine.
Is the noise the same regardless of which gear you are in?

Drive slowly with the car on full lock; do this both ways. This can sometimes show up driveshaft issues.
yes any gear above 15mph. It’s not the 4th and 5th gear bearing issue as that has been swapped out and that noise went away. Hoping it’s not something in the diff that has gone wrong.
