There were apprently off a Punto but I don't believe them now TBH. Tried to fit them earlier with 10mm Spacers and there clear of the inner arch, but I don't have long enough bolts. The ET of the alloy is 35. Would it be possible to fit 195/45 tyres instead and avoid having to use spacers?

Basically yes, as MikeSalt said the standard offset is 35, those wheels are also 35 so you won't need spacers, end of. The tyres are definitely too big though so get the 195/45's on there and you'll be golden

I swear by Yokohama s.Drive tyres on my Punto. Works out at £213.20 fully fitted for a full set of four. Most of the time Tyre-Shopper are the cheapest for my tyres but do shop around just in case. The reason I like them so much is the 'AA' traction rating. So much grip that heavy braking will cook my brakes before locking the tyres, good in the wet and a nice progressive loss of traction at the limit.
