What setup are you running? Post pictures and videos if you have them :p

I currently have 2 x 6x9's from theloudest.com (awaiting the negative comments) amped by matching 3000W amp, also from theloudest.com.

Planning on getting:
Front components (unsure which ones yet)
12" sub (loudest.com again) 1000W rms
3000W amp to match the sub

I've had those 6x9s but they've come and gone. Build quality was excellent and they looked great but as everyone knows, power figures are a little exagerated... They worked well but i needed a little more brute so i stuck these in:

Still trying to get rid as baby on the way so offers welcome!

I have the 6.5 components from them and they sound perfectly good, except my useless head unit does them no good whatsoever. Its a Sony XAV W1 and as good as it looks with the high resolution screen, the sound quality is shocking and enhancements extremely lacking. It doesn't even have a bass and treble setting!!!

My setup's far from expensive or perfect but I think for the budget I did it on it performs quite well.

Kenwood KDC-W6537U Headunit
JBL GT5-12" Sub
JBL GT2004 4 Channel amp
Vibe Black air 6 components up front
Skinz deadening throughout.

Whole set up cost ~ £300

So far my set up has been mostly ebay finds but still doesn't perform too bad:

ALPINE CDA-7876RB Headunit
JL C2 650x coaxials
JL Audio TR525 coaxials
JL Audio 12” sub 12W0-4
JL Audio E1200 Amp

hopefully next is rainbow 265slx 2 way component speakers upfront, unless anyone else knows of better for the same price? (lose the JL C2 650x coaxials) and
JL Audio e4300 amp

sound system on a budget :D :D

You didnt stick with the vibe sub then?
Got a tidy £80 for that, it was punchy and quite melodic, but was too much hastle running a distro block for seperate power wires (as my comps still needed amping). Plus I couldn't get the desired effect, sealed enclosures are poo :D

You should know I didn't have it, you saw the contents of my boot when you tuned me up at T-19

Yeah...I bought them :)

They are loud but I don't think they're as loud as they claim to be. They do sound like there's a small sub in the boot though which is pretty good. I can vouch for the sub as I've had one before, they hurt your ears!

Oh hey wassup mate! Sorry about testing them that day, a bit overpowered them but i hope they're ok? I've removed my bass box as the wife needed space to carry a washing machine and its been left out since so bass is minimal. Other than sticking 6x9s back in, i don't think theres a better option to get some decent bass? My headunit is crap and i don't have money to change it (my wife won't let me rather!).

Just fitted dls ca31 and dls rw10i

pcitures arent great but there you go. Wish i took before i put that bag there :( velcroed it on but if you move it it all comes off so left it lol
