What's this 20bhp+ mod?

Stumbled on this on ebay, what's the deal? Crap or not?

I suspect it's a 4p resistor.

Works for about a week until your ECU compensates for it.

Not only is it crap, i can also screw up your car. Basically i bought on from ebay for my astra. Put it in my car and about 2 weeks later i had over heating trouble. Got the AA man out and he took one look at my engine and saw it and said that was the problem. It overloaded somthing which tells the car that its getting a bit hot and to put the fan on so the fan didnt ever come on and it melted the sensors. Cost me about £100 overall to fix it. FCUKING PIECE OF **** is what it is

ive herd saxo boys like these lol .. they say they have it chipped but they aint lol its a **** EBAY job lol!

its makin ur ecu think your going faster than u are and thus produce's more fuel in the engine along with air but doing so is slowly flooding the engine and burning fuel it doesnt need! u risk Detonation using this crappy mod! and if at idle just sitting there its gonna get very hot under that bonet of urs!

m8 had 1, m8 blew his car up! mean anythin?

They work on BIG and lazy american engines (5-7ltr, 150-200BHP) where it was designed to work on regular gas in california type heat. If you live in the cold and run premium gas then one of these mods will get you a few BHP.

They do not work AT ALL on small engined cars.
