Hi What's exactrly different about the fire engines to the normal one. I have a fiat Uno 1.0 i.e I don't think it's a fire engine, but i'm intrigued as to the differences.
Check if you have a rubber square Oil filler cap – If so, you have the FIRE.
Before the re-badge to 1.0 IE, the Uno 45 was available in 903 (OHV) or 999 (OHC) FIRE – both were carburettor versions. I reckon all 1.0IE unos are FIRE.
The non-fire was a 0.9 lol.
Hi, my Uno 1.0 i.e Start has a square rubber oil filler cap. what does this mean? thanks
Very old post but I need to clear this up. THE ENGINE WITH THE RUBBER FILLER IS THE NONE FIRE ENGINE, THE FIRE ENGINE LOOKS EXACTLY THE SAME AS THE TURBO WITH A ROUND SCREW IN OUL CAP, THE TIMING COVER IS YELLOW AND THE ROCKER COVER IS SLOPING DOWN WARD.Hi What's exactrly different about the fire engines to the normal one.
