Technical whats that then ?

Recently I posted regarding my oil light https://www.fiatforum.com/showthread.php?t=53124

Today I have a good look around and found a disconnected wire which has bare wire so has snapped at some point .

If you open the bonnet there are two wires wrapped together , they run just by the cam belt cover on the left hand side .

Any ideas what this is for ????? i didn't have the time to get under the car to investigate .

any help appreciate

Sounds like the oil pressure sensor wire - which would explain your warning light

IIRC it runs over the timing belt cover and down towards the oil filter, theres a plug on the end of that somewhere.
