Styling Whats that LED? panel thing..

..Just above the right hand interior fan next to the 3 buttons for rear wiper fog etc on the centre console for?

Is it an LED and mine just does'nt light up?
Sorry new Uno owner alert and dont have the benefit of the owners handbook!
If it helps its a 94 Uno Mambo..

It is your clock if not working remove the panel prise out the plastic covers each side then unscrew the panel and check the bulbs,

Well I went and had a look today and to be honest theres nothing behind there!
Took the advice above,Taking a second look,it looks like its just some kind of blank panel as theres no workings behind it?

I did notice that there is a white 4 pin connector not plugged into anything.
Could this have once been plugged into the back of the panel of what once might have been the clock.Does it sound like the clock workings have been removed?

Bit confused you ask what the LED thing is then say there is nothing there!!
If it is a clock it would have 2 little dimple buttons each side to change time.
I guess there is none and just a blanking plate, at least you have the connector.
If you have none I have got one for sale.

Back to the LED.

Does the car have a towbar fitted? In the UK a warning light must be fitted somewhere on the dash to tell you if the trailer lights are working or not. Often this is a LED squeezed somewhere into the facia. It will not do anything until trailer electrics are plugged in at the back, then it should flash in time with the indicators to tell you that all is well.

Either that or it may be a warning light for an aftermarket alarm system, the previous owner might have removed the alarm before selling the car on and left the LED behind rather than leaving an ugly hole in the dash.

Apart from that you could tell passengers that it is a warning light for the warp boost engines
