I've had good stuff from Bolt On Bits in Bradford, Craddocks and 4X4 Overlander for my Defenders.
That’s a nice looking 110, loving the wheels? Is that an 86? Can’t quite see the Reg in the pic ?

The bonnet bulge is to fit the ford engine so unless later bonnet fitted unlikely to be 1986 .That’s a nice looking 110, loving the wheels? Is that an 86? Can’t quite see the Reg in the pic ?

I happen to have a 109inch diesel series III, first reg sept 76 so eligible for historic road tax, on galvanized chassis that needs refurb. Van top and truck cab. No MOT.The wheels are Rader, a German aftermarket company. I sold it a few weeks ago to www.classicmarques.net and they still have it on the forecourt if you want it, (it's back on it's original reg. MX12)
This'll be the first winter for years that I hav'nt had a 4X4, just the Panda on her new UltraGrip8's
(I'm looking for an old Series Land Rover at the mo)
If you got 30k kicking round somewhere you could put it towards one of these classics...It's a 2012 110 Utility Station Wagon. I was'nt a big fan of Land Rovers but bought a 61 plate 90HT so I could claim the VAT back. My previous vehicles were estate cars or Jeeps (with rear seats and windows) and my accountant recommended that I went for the Defender commercials.
As I found out though (after I'd sold it, and this made me very grumpy) the Wrangler had a 3500kg towing ability so could have been regarded as a VAT-reclaimable commercial. This also affects the taxation class, as noted on V5's, which lowers the road tax paid but this, in turn, then gives the insurance company an excuse to wind up your premium. More grump inducing regulations.
Apart from being a bit lacking in the build quality department Defenders turned out to be the best working 4X4's I've had.
Paying £3.20 in Starbucks for a 'Green Tea Latte', sounds nicer than it actually is. Basically they've taken green tea leaves, added a lot of powdered sugar somewhere in the mix, and can't say I'm too happy with the finishing product. Yuck.![]()
Their coffee isn't much better.Never buy tea from Starbucks, their tea is muck !

Lol... in theory you can clock it back but must have a mileage correction sticker showing... not sure if old mileage has to printed on it....thick kids on facebook Punto Enthusiasts group that think if you fit a lower mileage engine to a car its perfectly fine to clock the car back to the mileage of that 1 used part. :nutter:
