Yesterday I parked with my car a few feet in front of next doors fencing, no drive or pedestrian gates blocked or anything like that..... whilst they did ask nicely for me to move I thought it was a bit rich saying I had blocked their spot and shouldn't park there :bang:

If people want to park right outside their house, get one with a drive

My 406 broke it's timing belt

Belt was 7k miles old and all.... But running on a car with about 180bhp did take it's toll. Pushing it uphill infront of yobs was bloody humiliating

Currently now sits in my yard, looking terrible. So may it enjoy a nice rest..... For now

Brought 2 new Jubaliee clips for 50p each to use to stem my coolant leak

When fitting them - 1 started to jump when it got a fractional bit tight = Ruined
2nd one decided to chew itself as well.... FML!

Find an old looking one that would fit - its corrosion and squeaky, and guess what - that sodding worked didnt it....

Stupid climate control on the micra, it's set so when the idiot light for cold coolant goes off it starts heating the car...only problem being when it does the 1.2 doesn't actually generate enough heat when travelling at 30mph when its one degree outside. So the heater cools the coolant back down, idiot light comes back on the heating goes off..rinse and repeat for 7 miles.

It will be if private, will be very uncommon and people might have concerns to it being cosha.

Best bet for ease and speed would be we buy any car etc.

its a suzuki swift 1.25L diesel. 5 door. does like 80 mpg.. thats why i wanted alex to have it and sell the marbella.

A LOT more than that, whereas the Marbella is worth nothing. No brainer.

Got a cold, and I have another meeting later today, plus a presentation next Monday and training all day Tuesday, and no time to recover over the weekend. Have worked 170 hours, mostly overnight, in the last fortnight and I'm knackered :yuck:

My neighbour at the shop has had her shed robbed. She only noticed because I was stood talking to her, gate and greenhouse was left open (nothing taken), shed was bolted but padlock gone (garden tools taken). I can quite clearly see footprints in the shed.

She's rung the police and they have given her a crime number but said "forensics won't be able to get any prints etc so there's no point in us coming out". How do they know that if they don't come and look!?!?

Yep.... There was quite the bang at the traffic lights I was more concerned for my turbo rather than the engine, which seem fine thankfully

Means I have to refurb a spare head I have lying about though...!

My grump for the day: I'm bloody freezing in my haus and yesterday I woke up missing half a tooth (molar)

Tbf we buy any car are utter pirates, I valued my swift with them when I'd had it 8 months got a figure similar to what you've been offered, which considering 4 years later after an additional 40k miles its worth (according to the free valuation on auto trader) about 700 quid less was obviously a pi $$ take.

My computer has the "serious organised crime unit agency" Trojan infection they want me to pay £100 to "unlock it" lol I just have to give my bank details sigh, lol. to be honest with the amount of crap I've had with it recently computers going in the bin!
