looking at pics of tools on ebay, i think i could make a better cam locker by cutting a flat bar to look like this
6mm drill for the pump locker, just need to find a way to lock crank now

Ha Ha. After Posting i lost all internet and phone:bang: So i got to work trying to find and fix the problem
We've managed to find a solution, for now. - the fault was with damage done to the car before i bought it
Just so happens a bit of broken plastic form the inside panel had moved and got jammed in the belt, rubbing against the belt - hence the loose fibers.Once I've removed the broken bits it should be ok. So far we've managed to un jam the belt by knocking the plastic bit out of the way...
Been a tough week...
run a lighter over the frayed bits it will seal it quite nicely
my grump:- the mrs found out about my proposed plans for LED cockpit conversion with custom dials and gave me the 'medusa' stare... i still think the krakken wasnt a myth and i married it!! :doh:
My brother in law swapped a Peugeot 106 (running+tax+test) for a Pajero (no tax+no test) with my next door neighbor,
the 4x4 battries were dead so he bought a big MOFO of a battery 680 cranker, coupled the battery up and it still wont start, looked at the starter and the main live feed thread/bolt has been totally stripped
My neighbor coupled up some kinda push on rig up to the starter connection.
so now a "it'll be on your drive two weeks max i promise" has turned into 4months, also it's auto and my neighbor was so kind to put it on the grass bit behind my wall on my drive while i was out so we can't tow it out and it's auto, so most of next weekend will be spent getting it off my drive just so we can sell it, so not only has it been sat for 4months on my drive he's now gonna sell it from my house (which i really don't want to happen) because he "doesn't want it anymore"
Im gonna work day and night just to get it away
Im considering trying to get the welder in to the starter connection so i can weld the batt lead onto it, im that peed off with it.
i told him not to swap a good diesel pug 106 for a Pajero with 14 Previous owners since it's 2001 import so 14owners in 11years kinda tells you what kinda vehicle it is.
But cant believe my neighbor did us over like that, Oh wait i can, he reported my dads van for no tax and MOT because he wanted to park one of his 2jeeps 2caravans 2 cars and a trailer, but at least he was nice enough to ring me with 1hour to go on the 48hr "this will be towed notice from the DVLA" so had no time even get the van sorted/moved or the DVLA rang. sooner i do up and sell this house the better

I got a bit sunburnt while out wakeboarding yesterday, feeling a bit sore today

So sorry to hear that, my Mum finished treatment a few months ago (but is still having side effects from the chemo - pins and needles, etc) and is now going for tests every few months to make sure it isn't coming back.
Maybe best to leave them be as a family for a while, and eventually talk about it if he wants to.

Sadly, I lack the balls to even attempt anything like that lol. Besides, our office is also a coridor to the office upstairs. Can't go 30 seconds without someone wandering through.

Maybe look into some office politics from "Malcolm Tucker". That should sort her out! .

the fact that even trying to work voluntary is a hard thing to do.
cos of all this "where theres blame theres a claim" i cant even work for free!
even the job center has pretty much told me to give up looking for work. cos of my lack of skills i am about as useless as a corpse at a wedding.
i also found out that i would have to pay quite a bit to attend any college courses.
all it takes is for some employer to say.. your the guy. that it my whole life would change.. heh i bet ill still be like this in a months time.
also ive given up with the panda project. people want huge money for total wrecks. it seems my dream of owning a panda 4x4 will never happen. lets face it not much of a dream. it seems owning some huge sports car would be a more easy thing to achieve and come by.
the place where my dad works is also being shut down this year too so thats gonna be a big help.
