Found out today that a colleague committed suicide yesterday. I didn't know him that well, but enough to say hello to him. Still disturbing. R.I.P.
You're dead right there; we know the how, but as yet not the why. I suppose we'll find out in due course. Suicide is almost always the most painful for the family as it's usually them who finds the deceased.
Crappy night in work. 23 year old girl had a massive bleed after giving birth. Baby is fine but mum is in intensive care and in a very bad way.
30 units of blood. 12 of plasma. 4 of platelets.
Poor girl is only a kid herself, at least compared to an old bugger like me.
Hope she pulls through.

just watched Leah's Dream.it was my mate and his ex and their daughter that the documentary was based on..Its upsettin knowing what theyre all goin thru especially after finding out that the mum (linzi) died 5 times due to a tumor but pulled thru herself by fighting it,I knew she had cancer and lost her hair but me and the gf didnt know about her diein
It was an amazing insight into their life.
It was a really good put together documentary!

Sorry if I'm hi-jacking this, but if you're on facebook can you have a look at "Save the Paramedic Calender" (I think). This was an attempt to make a spoof calendar based on the people taking their clothes off for charity. The ambulance service they work for are trying to get it stopped and have refused to allow their logo to be associated with the calendar, this despite the fact that the charity they're trying to help is the North West Air Ambulance which is entirely funded by charity but, almost every day it is used to assist the ambulance service.Crappy night in work. 23 year old girl had a massive bleed after giving birth. Paying for 10meg. Been like it for months but Virgin won't do anything about it.
