Surely that bull? My Dads Audi doesn't even have space for a spare wheel lol. That's why he could only carry that quick puncture repair stuff.
AA t&c say if the car came with a spare you have to have a serviceable spare iirc

The spare wheel in a mk2 at least forms part of the rear crash protection so removing it has a negative effect on the car.

i dont think the AA can make laws
think it means they can refuse to fit if not legal, and charge for recovery if its not there at all

The people designing those courses should be shot IMO. A mate of mine did most of a 'Motorsports Engineering' degree, and spent most of it building cars rather than actually gaining any understanding of how the parts being fitted made the car work better. I spent 12 months doing the latter a year later and loved it.
We agreed that it'd be wholly wrong to call him an engineer of any sort.
My grump - I have a real major urge for an EV2 but havent got the funds at present!
