tried that. no traction what so ever so tried the low box (max speed 15mph) and it was struggling in that. then again they are semi slicks on a off road car

plus its an auto so doesnt do high gears unless you are at the right speed.

Its just because its american crap. If you had a LR it would of been fine.

Made me grumpy is filtering onto the motorway and a lorry sending a nice big fcuk off stone into my windscreen, CRACK OH and people that crawl along at 40mph on a dual carrigeway when the road is find apart from 1ft of snow at the side of the carrige way.

Its true, even my dad in his 911 has made a 40mile drive to work with at least 10 of those down country lanes and he has had no problems so if your "4x4" is struggling in a tad of snow i would hate to think what its like offroad.

bh i think its more to do with the tyres. hard compound little tread. and a good chunk of torque from a 3.0 V6 Diesel Mercedes engine.

Why did I bother to drive in the snow to get to work! no one else did! am the only technician who came into work in the whole Uni! but at least I enjoyed the drive in!
