Lost my internet connection this morning

I thought it was the usual grumpy BT home hub, but no that's fine, my network switch has popped it's clogs :bang:

Ah well at least the home hub has 2 connections, so can get online, but need to replace the blasted switch before I can work here again grrrrrr

I feel your pain, I had a D-Link Gigabit switch die on me a wee while ago. I've been using wireless :yuck: since as I can't afford to get another one ...

Thankfully I'm off for a fortnight

The home hub can supply wireless (I don't use it, so it's not enabled) but I begrudge paying PCWorld / Currys / Dixons inflated prices

i have been driving for (aww crap) 25 years, and haven't come across a flood yet where if i had had a kit fitted i would have needed to do this, its just incase advice.

edit apart from tide at mersea island, but can wait for it to go down or not go there at high tide, seen many standard cars get fcuked there
