Grumpy is not the word I'm livid!
I've had the same number for 15years, never once have I had spam messages,
Now I'm getting one a day!
And all because I put my mobile number on my passport form, no one else, never gave it to anyone or any company's just the passport office!
Can I do something about this? Have they broke the law sharing my number with a 3rd party?

Gateshead Council, apparently it's acceptable to empty household waste bins once a month in the middle of summer
.

But the government will say that everything is just fine and that with new technology regular urban hygiene isn't necessary. Everything gets better all the time, don't forget that.

Normally we get once a fortnight, however it just so happened that they were on strike on my normal collection day...and they've decided its best not to bother catching up as that means they'll have to pay the people who were on strike for extra work.

Emailed asking for either an alternative collection or a council tax rebate as they've had my money but not paid anyone to empty my bin.

Motorcyclist coming at me head on round some blind 'S' bends on the wrong side of double white lines......missed me by inches........hope he has a donor card...:(

I'm in exactly the same boat. Then I saw said bin men day after the strike. I asked if they knew if there'd be an extra collection only to get an ear full of abuse from an uneducated cretin . Banging on how it's their right to strike for wage increases to which I replied "If you're so unhappy with your salary for emptying bins, go back to college and start a professional career". He didn't look too impressed by it shut him up :D

Pfft all their jobs will be replaced by robots before long, least they don't go on strike :D

I'd offer them a 5 percent payrise...on condition they sign a new contract that prohibits striking in future. This sort of contract is not unheard of in the public sector, ambulance have them, hell call handlers in the ambulance service have to sign a contract that if the building is on fire they will not evacuate. But yeah no strike contract would be funny watching the unions trying to talk people out of taking a payrise above inflation.

The new freak from down the road came and knocked on our back door tonight, he's already been into two doors down with a knife, he wanted a "neighbourly chat" the wife chased him, last thing I need is for that crap to start, he must of noticed my van not being there for a couple of days,
Just glad my wife can handle herself, she's tougher than me :D

My god I hope it's my top mounts making a noise when turning either way:(
Can't handle steering pumps or leecy assist changing :(

I've learnt that the now compulsory tyre pressure monitors have a battery life of around five years, and cost between 50 and 150 pounds per wheel to replace when the battery fails.
Which, along with everything else that can fail on cars, means that it has to be a new car every three years, or a lease car. For peace of mind and controlled expenditure anyway.

No wonder the manufacturers only give the leasing rates and not the prices in ads these days :(
