What's made you grumpy today?

the fact that i just got quoted £12000 for insurance on a £1300 car haha!
and the cheapest i can get is £450 a month.

Sorry to hear that mate, Hope your mums ok.

At least it should be easy to track down the driver.

Alan

Thanks :)...shes fine now, was a little shaken by it all.

Phoned the Police who came round, took the details, said they would get the details of the person, said if my mum wanted to they would arrest them, but she didn't want to deal with court etc. So they said they'll give UPS and him a bollocking (maybe not put like that ).

Mum is going to give a formal complaint to UPS, hopefully they'll be sacked, would be very surprised if they aren't! If I attacked someone at work I know I would be.

Apparently it started when I tried to run him over...which is news to me.

I don't know what to do!

Was going to go back to do a-levels but my old Art teacher decided she didn't want me in her "specially formed class" because I wouldn't get on with my work by myself.

Seems like I have no idea about my future... I don't know what I want to do.

To top it all off, Im yet again jobless come 16th September.

lol ...we did think that, although if he does come back it would be pretty stupid. Sisters have been told not to answer the door, and mum is looking before she opens it.

Plus we have a Police station less than a mile away from us .

The whole drivers side headlight cluster on my car has stopped working, my indicators flickering fast as hell which is really annoying when trying to indicate and now i have to drive cyclops in the dark which is both sat and sunday night after work and i cant get it sorted until monday! :bang:

have you checked it's not just a loose connection?

I wouldn't drive with no lights on the drivers side, If the Police stop you, you are driving an unsafe car. at the very least tie a torch to the drivers side, purely to mark out that you're not a motorbike, and where the edge of the car is. But still that's more of a 'get me home fix'.

MOT Failed :(

Failures:

Rear jacking points have succumbed to the infamous tin-worm :(
Front floor next to sills also succumbed to the infamous tin worm
CV boot knackered
NS dipped-beam not working (ironically, one thing I did check last night, all working lol) (got a bulb somewhere I think lol)

1st quote: ~£200 all of the above
2nd quote: Monday...

2 advisories:

Hand brake only just passed (shouldn't be too difficult to sort)
Rear OS tyre close to legal limit (won't be too expensive to get a half decent tyre)

On the plus side, emissions were absolutely fantastic lol

You could always commit a crime in The Smoke and see it all for real.

If you attempted to run him over, why didn't he just phone the Police?

200 is a good price as long as its a fixed one an not an estimate. with welding when you clean back you often find its a lot more work than it first looked, so make sure its fixed price

It isn't a fixed price, was only a quick call earlier, getting definitive quotes sorted on Monday :)

God knows, apparently UPS want to 'interview' me about it...only way that's going to happen is if the Police come and speak to me.

Police should be phoning UPS to get his details tomorrow and then give them both a bollocking, mum wants him to get sacked, which hopefully he will. Speaking to my manager about it yesterday and asked if I attacked a customer would I get sacked...answear was straight away lol.

Just woke up to find my only decent tyre on my car is flat as a pancake.

The MOT gets longer...

Bottom N/S Balljoint.
Track rod end N/S.
Manifold to cat exhaust gasket.
Two new front tyres because of un even wear on the tread.
Something else clunking from the back  Still don't know what it is.
And now another tyre :(

If I fix all theses and my car passes with no advisorys i'll officialy say that FIAT's are amazing! Can't see it happening though

well had the panda 6 months now and its just gone past 7200 miles, two weeks ago i had two new tyres as they were scrubbed out at 6600 miles dam tracking ans today theres a bloody screw in the tyres right on the edge so a 600 mile tyres knackered:bang:
