Having to buy a stupid book to do a test called "Life in the UK" so I can then apply for a visa which will cost over £800 so I can stay permanently in the UK. Grrrrr
at least we don't ask you for £35k up front to cover any medical stuff you might need. they should do a swap 1 in one out policy for english speaking countries, so if you find some one here who wants to live over there you just swap

Just kind of annoys me that it's £800, I paid about £700 2 years ago to get permission to get married and then to get a visa to stay here for another 2 years because I was married.
I appreciate that there are checks and so on but £800 is steep! But at the end of the day I'll pay because I want to stay here.

Went in at the wrong time ...meant to start at 1500...not 0800. Well, on the duty sheet...but no one I can crew up with as the person I was going to be with isn't in today.
Took me 85 minutes to do a 15 mile trip...can normally do it in 20 minutes.

4 day weekend is over just in time for my least favourite day of the week because it has the most classes :'(
