Welding work to repair my jack damage was about 2x the cost I was expecting (based on my own estimate). Looks to be a good, thorough job though so it could be worse.
i febreezed the sofa and got no where to sit
Part of my college course has been cancelled due to low uptake. This means I will have to try to pick up a new subject and I will be a couple of weeks behind:bang:

weve got a new guy out in stores that started a few weeks ago as the 'manager' out there..... hes 23ish, used to be in the RAF and is way to big for his boots!!
i went out a few minutes ago to ask one of the guys out there to make me up a swing chain and seat assembly so i can deliver it to a customer later.... handed him the job card and the other guy walks up... 'THATS THE LAST THING YOU MAKE FOR HIM' (while pointing at me) 'IF HE WANTS ANYTHING MAKING HE CAN DO IT HIMSELF IN FUTURE"
wtf!! :bang: i can go out and pick my own orders if there for the likes of bolts, a standard seat, or soild items, but im not insured/allowed by the company to start hammering/drilling etc on products
sometimes i feel like im fighting a loosing battle.... we need more workforce that are able to do the job... not blood managers!!!! :bang:

i have my doubts about him tbh... to say he used to be in the RAF i thought hed be quite used to everything....
hes kicking of because hes wearing his own clothes underneath company bought safety wear (boots/hi vis etc).... and complaining that they are getting dirty
what do you expect when you looked in stores... i looked like a bloody chimney sweep a few months ago when we sorted it out but i didnt give stuff... he also loves himself a bit (not even i carry a mirror in my work stuff )i also get satisfaction from overtaking his ruusted up polo the odd time to :devil:
but he really is doing my tree in :bang:

stupid dog, i tied a rope to my wheel and to dog so he could be outside with me fitting hid lights, i popped in back garden for a few secs to get a spanner an he snapped the rope and went after a woman an her 2 dogs an made her fall over :bang: lucky she was ok about it an i not in trouble i hope, unless she got a mad husband who will come round later

done lots of sanding body filler down today remember my safety glases and dust mask all day, then went to spray paint some wheels and forgot my dust mask, now have a really dry itchy throat
