hi guys. I am planing to start tinkering with my 100hp in the new year, I was wondering whats available for it, as in springs, exhausts, filters, braces etc. and what have you all done to urs?

I have plans to lower mine, change my exhaust to stainless and a service lol, then induction kit. then start dressing the engine and interior. but firstly change the speakers for better ones.
 
Have a look at Cooperman1 and Demi to get a flavour of what can be done to the 100HP as there isn't a huge range of aftermarket parts to choose from and they tend to be quite expensive, personally i'd spend money on the suspension and the air intake.

Suspension and intake are the most popular mods. Good tires and discs or pads would be second choise mod. The rest is personal taste.

Have a look at modded HPs here to get the range of mods avaiable to you but be prepaiered to get your hands dirty as most mods are DIY.

My steps are always:

1. Make sure the brakes are 100%, including fluid. I've changed everything but only upgraded the pads and have never run out when on track (fluid is critical and often ignored).
2. Tyres. You need a decent set, it's the only part of the car that touches the floor / road / track! Better tyres are only a few £s more than terrible ones.
3. Air filter. Cheap and easy.
4. Shocks / dampers. An obvious 100HP improvement (see multiple threads.. go for the Koni SRT.T).
5. Exhaust. The original will be on the way out anyway. Doing it again, I might have gone for the Grp. N back box.
6. Springs. Something I haven't touched, but probably should.
 
Its straying more in to essential servicing territory but i'd advise a gearbox fluid change and make sure the coolant is up to strength as this is critical to long engine life on the panda.
 
I've changed the filter to the BMC panel filter and done the £30 induction mod to compliment it.

Koni sports all round and the H&R springs, drilled and grooved discs and brembo fast road pads, new five dot brake fluid, full service and a smattering of stickers.

I could do with a new front seat (small tear in back of it) and a stereo that plays five live, but I can live with those things.

Hehe only done one or two mods!! :devil: they are a great little cars to work on, work out what style you are going for and rock it! You can check out what I have done to mine by clicking on the link below as if I tried to write it out I would more then likely forget a lot of it!

im deffo going oem+1, with a good bit of show, not that they dont have enough.
will just have to see how it all pans out.
 
Sounds like a good base for a plan! Well worth starting your own thread as it's interesting to read back and see what you have done! I think my first ever post on there I said I wasn't going to modify my panda!!! Lasted about a year before I gave in! :D
 
To be fair the 100HP is really very good out of the box and the only essential mod is the shocks/springs as they make a very good setup outstanding.

im seeing also of post where the suspension is first changed, and alot of koni talk. im not liking the waiting times I read, people complaining of waiting for just shocks.

I looked into KW but as you say for the price it's hard to justify, I got my springs and rear Koni Sport shocks for £260 and the car sits bag on where I want it to.
KW are great for 'stance cars' but for real world it's a hard call.
Plus with the black wheels it's not to much of a issue as your eye has not got anything bright to use as a hight gauge!! :D

my car is a daily drive, with passengers everyday, and family. so kw would prob be a bad choice. although the big kid in me likes the idea of a dialed in sweet stance and ronal r10 turbo alloys, but thats just the kid mind!
 
I looked at ronal turbos, was to much hassle to fit as the only pcd was 100 and didn't want to fit wobbler bolts! But like your style (y)
I was also looking at lenso bsx, inspired by yourself, and was thinking of white on white, going for a nice clean finish, polished rim would set it off nicely.
 
although a nice set of chrome schmidt th lines, with gold bolts, would be the uber alloys, if I had the cash. whats the wonga web address again?
 
I was after Ronals or aero 16's but it's a case of more pressing issues that are non panda related needed addressing first. Maybe post 'Ring next year....
