I would say so - you can claim the extra 2p via the Revenue, but you only get relief at your rate of tax - i.e. claim 1000 miles and only receive £380 and not £400. Tax claim will be £20 @ 22% = £4.40.suppose a company only give you 38p are they ripping you off?
