what to do?

I have a dent in the drivers door above the bumpstrip and i went about going to see about gettng it removed. I was directed by a mate to a bodyshop in dundee where he is good pals with the owner so i get mates rates.

he said they would need to fill the dent and re-spray the drivers door (which doesnt bother me as AC did a **** job when they bashed it) and part of the rear quarter for £100 ish.
They couldnt do paintless dent removal as they dont have the facilities.
This would allow me to remove the rubstrips also, as when AC painted the door, they just masked round them.

Also went to chips away and was quoted £58 per panel for paintless dnet removal.

Im gonna get the dent taken out, but dont know whether to spend a little bit extra and get a better paint job on the door

i cant belive u are goign to pay stupid money to get that taken out yer off yer nut simon, u cant even see it u neeed to go like an inch away from the car to see it its like not even a pinky print sized dent, save your money boy!!!

Some of us like to look after our cars, so shut it! its me thats paying for it so i can do wat i want

yeah but serious go for the cheaper option cos the spraying the door is pointless the car has a less than 1 year old paint job leave it be just get them to do a dent removal

i probably will. Got quoted £300 to get the whole car de-locked as well, so **** that :lol:
