Given it was such a lovely day in the lakes I decided to take my two favourite girls out. The Lady and the Sei. So with half a tank of fuel, the windows down, sunroof off and music up. We headed through grasmere and over red bank. Headed towards the langdales and over to Blea tarn. Next was Wrynose and down into the valley. Up over Hardknott a 30% incline - this required first gear. Down into Eskdale and along the coast to Corney fell, where the locals have a sense of humour. Up and over then down into Broughton. Through to coniston and back home. I realise a lot of you may not know where any of this is so I have tried to provide as many pictures of possible. All this and I still have a Quarter of a tank of fuel. Judas has recieved a complimentary clean and pollish for behaving. Minus the poor handbrake for hill starts, haha. But she is a Sei.

I have lived in the Lakes all my life and definately take it for granted. Nothing a run out like this didn't solve. Although we have the potholes in common, funny that...

my local roads :) you parked next tothe sign we changed :) YES!!!
some epic roads aint they?

I drive the Langdale roads all the time, but don't usually head right through to the coast. Makes for a nice change of scenery though. They are definately 'drivers' roads as you have to be on the ball (usually to avoid people who aren't).

I only encountered one car whilst driving over Corney fell, a Nissan Micra which had been 'pimped' and I just couldn't refrain from having a bit of fun; watching them try to speed off to get away. In the end I felt they were going to do themselves a mischief so I let them 'win' and pulled in for more photo opportunities.
