i know it is only worth what someone is willing to pay.

anyway it is a:

black 1997 p reg,

mint condition body work and interior

cough 145,000 miles cough (motorway i know i can prove it but from looking at the car and the working part you would'nt think it!!

full service history up to 135,000 miles

new pistons, valves, springs, cambelt, cam sensors, pulleys, fan belt, spark plugs, full top end gaskets, water pump (broke it when trying to remove it) after cambelt went at 140,000 miles :( basically a new top end rebuild. got recipts

oil change every 8,000 miles recipts

life time assured stainless exhaust

12 months mot

new goodyear venturer tyres all round

15" 8 spoke alloys front two a little shabby after misses used the car for a week.

i think its worth £1500 do you lot think that that is a reasonable price to advertise it for in auto trader

Whats the car a 1.4, 1.6, 1.8 or 2.0 and is it S, SX or HLX?

Would help. And the condition of the exterior and interior?

J

Oh its is a 1.8 hlx

and i said the interior was mint and the bodywork is also in very good condition

try parkers

that will give you a rough estimate:

£1500 seems reasonable for an average mileage, but that mileage is gonna make it a bitch to shift! You'd be doing well to get 1k for it.

Its 7 years old, I'd be more worried if it was a low mileage car.

I'd say between 1k and 1.5k. Stick some lambo doors on it and a bad boi bonnet and try and flog it for 5k ;)

To be honest mate, maybe your best bet would be to Part Ex the car for another. Prob get a £1000 for it.
