Technical what shud i do?

i can be driving along when i get abs fail, pwer steering fail and loose connection, but the car seems fine, and these will dissappear after the car is restarted and maybe wont happen for weeks then it will happen everyday for a week its head doin, how do i stop it and fix it

hi hun, im just at the end of my patience with it now,. love my car but seriously need it sorting its been to the garage 3 times with it now but they said there was nowt wrong, thanks for the advice will get sorting it x

Could it be the connector in the battery box? The one that always gets damp. You know which one I mean Oz, I can't remember what it's called for the life of me!

apparently the stilo is a love/hate affair for many, but you will be back to loving it when its sorted.

earthing point is under the battery tray. get that cleaned up, clean up the D4 connector (click on guides at the top of the page) and clean up the fusebox on top of the battery. get someone with a halfrauds trade card to buy you a new chunky battery, then it'll be good and dandy

start a thread in members motors and post up pics, and say hellow in the newbie section and leisure lounge :wave:

Getting a new battery is very good advice for sorting out these kinds of electrical gremlins. And go for the most powerful one you can afford, rather than a straight replacement. 096 which is 74 Amp Hrs if you can manage it.
