...from a dealer for my car in a years time.
Stilo Abarth Selespeed...
The car will be 2 years old as it's a 54 plate and in immaculate condition, and that is not an overstatement. It has the leather interior and skywindow, 18" wheels, lowered (not that the dealer will like the mods ) custom twin exit exhaust, front splitter, cadamuro spoiler and full bumper.
It will only have 6,000 miles on the clock.. it looks like this here http://www.stiloabarth.btinternet.co.uk/cars/mycar/koa1.jpg

What will a dealer offer me as a Part X towards a new car, any ideas what sort of amount I should be looking for ?

Looking at Autotrader for similar Stilo Abarths coming up to 2 years they are going for 7.5K, dealer adds a grand so possibly 6.5K. For a dealer the mods will not help shift it. Privately it would be worth quite a bit more. This is only my opinion of course.

Nice car by the way.

lol, cheers guys ;)

So with extremely low mileage I can expect a little more or not ? I mean 6,000 miles is less that half a year of driving for a lot of cars.

It's impossible to say what the used market will be like in a years time, what you are part-exing for, does the dealer NEED the sale etc. etc. etc. but for a tip-top example I would guess around £7K.

I'd take most of the tupaware stuff off it, mind as it won't do anything for the value and could even de-value it as, regardless of what you say, people will assume it's been over every speed-bump in 'Sarfend' and thrashed to within an inch of it's life around Illford...

No offence meant, but they will

What you thinking of changing too?

I am not sure what to get yet TBH. I have a few on the short list. Basically if I do it next year then I will most likely compromise with what car I replace it with. Ideally a new Alfa GT if the facelift brings a 3.2 selespeed option, or maybe the new Stilo Abarth if it's quick enough  ..

If I stuck a for sale sign in my car I recon I could sell it pretty fast as it gets loads of attention as it is. As for putting back the original parts  whoops, too late :D
I don't think the front splitter would come off without making a mess and I don't have the rear bumper or the limp dick exhaust to put back on.

Now that its complete! Do you not want to just enjoy it for a bit? Or is the enjoyment actually the project of bulding your masterpiece??

Would you be modding the new car??

I'm not sure TBH... I love the car, but everything I have done to it has been a friggin nightmare. It's taken so much out of me that I can't bear to do anymore, yet I know I want to do more, to make it even more perfect in my eyes. Do you know what I mean ?

I long for a car that doesn't require modding :D Well maybe new alloys and lowering but that's all cough cough.
