General What sensor is on the gearbox?

Hi

Just a question out of interest. I see on my 2006 1.6 stilo,just below the clutch 'hydraulic lever'/ the part that moves the clutch,there seems to be a 2 wire type of sensor. I've never removed it,I just wondered what sensor it is. It goes to a connector that goes into ECU loom. It's around there by the air filter.

Every time i check oil etc I look at him and ask 'i wonder what the hell you do'?

Is this on the front side of the gearbox if so probably the reverse Sensor

Yes. On the side of the bumper.
