General What is this

Several of my vehicles Carpet had a similar feature..

IIRC there was a VIN / chassis number under there

The first place you look if you're a copper and stop a Qubo/Fiorino being driven by a bloke with eyes rollin' about in his heid like Gotan the Tango Man ...It's not best placed as a hiding place for change or owt. - Or any kind of transducer for that matter (door opener etc.)

...I've just checked mine: yes, there's a number under the crud at the bottom of the hole.
