Styling what is involved in fitting lowering springs?

hi all got sum 40mm jamex springs coming and just wanted to know what is involved in fitting them would i have to take it to a garage or could i do it my self?

also wot tools are needed

well yuo need a haynes manual for starters.
a set of spring compressors,various sockets and spanners. as for whether you can do ot is down to you.not a big job really but if your not sure it may be worth letting a spanner monkey do it
