No mate. Don't see it as a "getting at" just letting you know that's all (y).

ahh yes i need to get some egp it works well with srp

what's it like to apply

black is a problem but gives some of the best results after a good detailing imo

white is also good

Well it was my first time using the srp + egp, srp was fine (used that before), a few "white" issues but a quick rub down with detailer afterwards was fine.

egp apperently needs to be put on VERY sparingly, i was putting it on carefully but enough for a properly visible coat to see what ive done & havent done, left it for 60minutes... came back, sun had been out! swear i was trying to remove it for an hour n a half, couple of people have said they dont have that issue i must of used too much etc.

lesson learnt, looks brilliant though... next time i'll be able to do it to a better standard (y)

ah cheers

probably a mix of to much and it might of got to hot in the sunlight

the spray wax i used above i probably didn't leave it on long enough and its hard to not get it on plastics ect unless you tape them off but really good if you haven't got much time

I'll try some of that for quick-cleans, i've also been using "Turtle Wax Ice Synthetic Liquid Wax" which seems to be very good for a shine, lasts about 2-3 weeks... my only complaint is it doesn't leave the "silky smooth" feel a real waxing does, but it can do the black plastics etc too so very good for a quickie.

It doesnt, it fills the swirls in not removes them. Looks good id be interested to see pics with the sun directly reflecting off the paintwork though to see how many swirls have gone :)

same difference :p

i haven't actually put in enough effort to hide any swirl marks and if i did i would be there a hell of a long time, thanks to the previous owner

only way to get that as nice as i would like it would be machine polishing. id quite like to get my own one but that wont be happening for awhile

there's a review on detailing world about swirl mark removal by hand which shows how good srp really is

I recieved a tip on how to apply EGP. By applying it to the paintwork with a few squirts from a gun thing (can't believe I have forgotten the term!) The sort of thing you get window cleaner in. But it clogs fairly easy from my experience.

Worked a treat for me and save me dipping the bottle on my cloth all the time.

Like that, but just put the top gun nozzle part in the EGP bottle, don't pour the EGP into the empty window cleaner bottle!
