VW Transporter 2.5 ltr TDi (5 cylinder engine) Ex AA wagon, I just wanted it for some reason!!!

Looks clean for an ex AA van. I had one for 20 years. Maestro van, Escort van, Transit van, Vauxhall Brava van then the T4. Think mine was AD03 something.

Still have a new set of seat covers including the rear fold down seat and a glove box that was taken out to fit the laptop in. (no reasonable offer refused)

Dave.

Is the glove box complete?? If so pm me with details!

Thats all thats fitted is a huge plastic lid that goes right down to the floor. I had to remove a huge metal frame that was the laptop stand yesterday!!!

Those huge metal frames ended up costing about £1500 each to produce. They had to crash test one in a vehicle before fitting them to all the T4s, then some bright spark came up with the idea of fitting the laptop in one of the drawers in the back instead. Your AD03 may still have the 2 wires hanging from the roof just behind the rear sliding door which were for a printer.

Sorry, I can't find the glovebox, all I've got are the seat covers. I think I may have thrown it away thinking I was never going to have a T4 again. At the time, we all kept them thinking that after about 5 years there would be a lot of second hand T4s on the market needing gloveboxes. I'll ask a few friends if anybody else kept one.

Its mileage is 112000miles with full service history along with recent cambelt, clutch etc. Managed to get it on my ramp at work and had a good look underneath, no oil leaks or signs of any steam cleaning. It looks like it has been very well maintained (Suppose it would have to be!).

It has polished up very well today and does not look or drive like it has high mileage!

Strange to see 2 doors, I always thought they had tailgates to stop the very very nice man getting wet if it rained.

For safety reasons, the very very nice man (y) was always supposed to park behind the broken down car so as to provide a barrier incase some not very nice man (n) came steaming up the hard shoulder. Would not be a good idea if he was standing under the tailgate then.

They gave us big AA golf umbrellas that the member was supposed to hold over us. The members weren't too keen on that idea so we just got wet.
