i have been playing on photoshop and heres what i come up with
carmod.jpg

what does everyone think about the smoothed door strips and should i go ahead with it all??

so undecided...!

cheers chris

Bumper smoothing yes, door strip no, perhaps body colour respray, but you want to keep the strips there as they do protect the door if you have a brain fart and open it into a wall. Tints are tints, each to their own, I wouldn't personally though. And the wheels? Sorry, not with you at all, maybe on a darker colour but on Grigio steel I reckon you should leave them as is.

thanks for the input n lmao i aint no chav! cant b assed wit them!
the wheels i was just wondering weather to do an anthracite respray or something?
the smoothing i dont think i will do in a hurry but i went to the bodyshop it was £205 for all the strips colour coded n he cudnt gaurentee that it would stick to the plastice properly :(
as for the tints i think ill do them anyone no price i should aim for for all 5?

I had a go on photo shop too. This is what I came up with

the tints and smoothing is nice, dont like the colour of the wheels.

stop lurking in this section - get back to the LL you WHS

I'd leave it mainly as is but change the wheels for a set of Schumacher 18's and go for blinds instead of tints, you can remove the blinds during the winter, makes it easier to drive when it's dark and wet

Whats all this about window blinds they dont look a patch on tints i love the tint on my car. If your gonna get tints get a tinted sun strip too i makes a lot of difference to the look of the car and i would presume that you have similar tastes to me by the look of your photoshop. I dont think it looks chav at all.
I have kept all the strips black but i do have a yellow can and i have added certain black features like tints and black lense covers.

Blinds look the same from a distance, only the rear window blinds are a bit cack (well mine are). I dont have mine in at the moment. Tints look okay but like dogspods says you cant take them out, plus you can have the 'dealer' look for the maccy d's carkpark and normal for, well normal...

Id keep your bump strips though, mine have saved my doors getting dented a few times (they are colour coded though).

That grey, with blinds, lowered a bit on 18"'s would look great, that seriously is a very nice colour car youve got.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! :shakehead:

Do NOT think about getting it lowered - there's enough threads on here about the downside of living with a lowered car - trust me, mines lowered and i'd never buy another car that was, yeah it looks stunning but the hassle it can bring easily outweighs the cosmetics.

i was thinkin bout 18"s instead of lowerin but they bit pricey i think...and it so much worse having low profile tires and curbin alloys :bang:  than having a low car!
lowerings cheaper so i might do that i have had a low car before and i no exactly what its like being scared to go up curbs etc lol but i think its worth it plus the better handling, what you recon eibech kit?:yum:

jus checked out those blinds on ebay n they are pretty awsum! but are they jus like the ones in the pictures or do they have theres tinted????

They're just like pictures. This was taken about 10ft away from the car

Doesn't look like a blind :D

You should be able to find a set of Schumi 18's on Ebay for about £300.
