I have an X reg Fiat Marea Weekend estate, 1.8, 60,000 miles on clock, petrol car.. it has just had a new exhaust.. only thing is i bumped the side when parking on one of them bollards, it isnt that noticeable.. it is on the door and slight round the wheel arch.. how much would you sell this car for?

About £1000 max, if it was the 130JTD ELX you'd be laughing but unfortunately all the other models are fairly common and the damage can only reduce the value

Is this an SX or ELX model? And does it have leather or cloth interior?

Hi,

It has cloth interior the model name is MAREA 115 ELX WEEKEND and the damage is to the back left wheel arch and there is slight damange to the bottom of the door. The damager to the door is minimal and does not effect it opening or closing in anyway at all.

We have been told various things by dealers some have said you could get up to £800 as a private sale and one other chaps said you would be lucky to get £300.00 as it would cost up to £800.00 to fix the dent. I don't believe for one minute that it would cost £800.00 to fix the dent.

We have been offered £600.00 given that the MOT and TAX are both due in Jan 2008 do you think this is a good offer.

£600 is a good offer but its really down to you and what you whant for it if you whant £600 the take the offer if not then push for more but i dont think is worth anymore than £850 good luck

600 is a good offer, you may get more but I wouldn't hold my breathe..I'd take it. Tis a shame, they're good motors

I'd break their arm for £600 to be honest.
recently saw a 20V saloon only 3 years older than your car but higher spec with similar miles go for much less than that.
