Just saying blue is too vague. The shade of blue will affect what shades of other colours go with it. You will always be safe with black, white, greys or chrome and aluminium finishes.

Your best bet would be to visit some interior decorating sites, which will illustrate colour schemes. Basically if you draw the spectrum in the form of a circle with all the colours blended, so you go from yellows through oranges to reds through purples to blues, etc. you can then select the colour you are starting with and, if you mark two other points on the circle equidistant apart dividing the circle into equal thirds, the other two points will be the best colours to match the original. That is assuming you are sticking with colours of similar saturation and light. If you wish to vary lightness you would probably need to make hue adjustments as well. Prime colours of equal hue will always go together, but that doesn't mean they would necessarily look good, for example dark red and dark blue would complement each other, but you probably wouldn't want a dark blue and dark red living room.

Other things to consider with colours related to cars are finish and feel. The surface texture and the type of paint, not to mention method of application, will all affect finish. Too many different finished will look confused. Matt surfaces should be lighter than shiny surfaces to reflect similar levels of light and give the illusion of similar colour. As far as feel is concerned, this is the overall impression you want to create. Some colours may give a feel of quality/class, where as other colours or colour combinations might give more of an impression of sportiness.

As you can see there are many things to consider, so the question is not as simple as the poll might imply.
