Balls so i am paying £3o extra a year coz i got the old one

Yeah you can see they only made them for a couple of months. Then they swapped to the 1.6 which has better fuel economy/emissions and has more torque.

bizarre how it works, mate was looking to buy a ka convertable, 04 plate car was sumthing silly like £235 a yr tax, 03 plate car same spec less leather £189 yr, same 1.6l engine, so leather adds to emissions now

not sure if this is what you want to know ...
the main reasons the emissions lower is due to good old european law ..you will find the old model achived euro 3 emissions ,the newer car will have achived euro 4 euro 5 and soon to come will be euro 6 ,,basically each one cuts down on the amount of nox and particulates that's released into the atmosphere ,hence less tax for newer cleaner cars and a reason why certain models disappear from the range as they can't meet new emission laws..

More tax than is already on them?

Fast Food is the smoking of the future anyway, it's just starting to be criticised now, soon enough marketing for fast food will be banned and buying your kids a happy meal will be like injecting them with nicotine.

Anyway sorry for the thread hi-jack
