Haha yeh, i guess so. Just like to enjoy them i guess. The Avensis was the longest owned car ive had, 7 or 8 months i think.
Only reason i sold that as we were saving up for a baby on the way, even tho we orgianlly got it for the baby on the way, however we needed something cheaper to run and the tax was due so was time for a change, and we bought the Panda 100HP. Great car, rather fun but think its a bit too cramped so thats up forsale now lol.

I'll try and remember my list tomorrow....9 years near of driving and Im on maybe 6-8 motors. I think.

If i include the inbetween/stop gap cars/daily runners the list would be at 21!

-Rover Metro 1.0 City, was offered it for £150 with tax & mot, sold it two days later for £250
-Ford Escort 1.3L Bonus, bought it for £50 with an mot, swapped it for a brand new Play Station 1 when they where new.
-VW Golf MK3 1.8 CL, Bought to sell on, turns out Car Auction made a mistake with the amount of owners so was returned for a full refund.
-Ford Escort 1.4i LX, Bought in exchange for bottle of Jack Daniels whilst i sourced the Alfa 147, sold it for £450.
-Vauxhall Astra 1.4 8v Merit, Bought for £50 with tax & mot whilst i sourced the Punto GT, sold it a week later for £250.
-Toyota Corolla 1.3 GS, Bought with tax and mot for £750 whilst i sourced the Honda Civic Type R, sold it a few months later for £850.
-Saab 900 2.0 S, Bought for £300 as a Stop gap after the Honda Civic Type R, sold it a week later for £450
-Citroen Xsara 1.9 Turbo Diesel, Bought as a Stop gap after buying first house until i sourced the Toyota Avensis. Paid £450, had it 5/6 months sold it for £330.
-Honda Civic 1.3 Bali, Bought it with tax, no mot for £100 for considered track project, decided against it, scrapped it for £140.

My older brother, whos been driving 11 years slags me of aswell. He's owned 8 cars! Ford Fiesta MK1 1.1 Popular, stripped and made into an XR2i replica, MK2 Opel Astra GTE (lived in Italy) tuned to silly bhp, mk1 Ford Ka 1.3(Kitted out), Honda Civic 1.4 16v LS (Standard), Vauxhall Tigra mk1 1.4 16v (lowered, and uprated exhaust), MG ZR 1.4 105 Plus (Standard), MK4 Golf 2.0 8v GTI (standard) and his latest/current car is an FN2 Honda Civic 2.0 16v Type R.

Then a 1.6 Ford Escort Zetect. Rust a dub dub
1.4 Pug 106 (died of engine failure)
1litre Micra (had to drive something for a couple of months)
Then the First Bravo - 1.6 from Ebay (lasted a year and a half)
1.6 Pug 306
2.0 Fiat Bravo HGT
2.0 Vectra Estate (current)

So yeh, I'm on my eighth car. The HGT, bless, only lasted 6 months before being written off whilst parked up. The micra just over the same.

Some seriously nice cars being listed here. I started late and stupidly throwing myself into the evils of finance at the tender age of 23. Had driven my Dad's cars since I passed my test - first a 1 litre Uno "Start" 5dr, which rolled like a bastard and had the steering wheel off a bus but loved that car. Did loads of "teenage" driving in it

Then, my Dad got a non-injection 1.6 K-reg Ford Orion. Actually had a blast in that even though it handled terribly. First car with a sunroof, loads of space and a spoiler on the back Only car I've ever written off. Did so in an amusing way though - trying to push start it by myself, managed to, got back in just in time to hit a car at 20mph, which hit another and another...oops :laugh:

Fair few rental cars and such have been driven in between those and since and my Dad's current mk1 1.0 Yaris is alright. It's lasted a fair while with my Dad's lack of mechanical sympathy :laugh:

But anyway, the car's I've owned (on finance). Get ready, it's a long list...

LEH the mk2 1.2 8v Punto Active between '04 and '06, never really got on with it all that much, hence this being the only pic I ever had. Plus, I only had a crap camera phone at the time.

And then...

RGZ the giant killing 1.2 16v Stilo Active. Has given me it's fair share of highs and (mainly currently) lows, but love this car. Will be sorry to see it go.
